South Asia Internship

South Asia is home to vibrant cultures and bustling cities, but it is also a region where millions of people have little to no access to the gospel. The GoTEN South Asia Internship gives college students and young adults the opportunity to step into this context, learning and serving alongside a veteran missionary team living among unreached people.

During this one-month internship, you’ll spend your days prayerwalking through local neighborhoods, visiting homes, learning basic language, and practicing the art of storytelling by sharing simple Bible stories. You’ll meet people from both the majority culture and diaspora communities who are hungry for connection and friendship. With guidance from long-term missionaries, you’ll experience firsthand what it looks like to live faithfully in a cross-cultural setting where following Jesus is costly.

This internship is not just about what you give, but also about how you grow. Interns reflect together in weekly debriefs, receive mentoring from missionary staff, and gain tools to live missionally wherever God may lead them. Shared housing, meals, and team activities create an environment of community where you’ll learn to depend on God and one another in the midst of challenges and joys.

This experience is designed to give you practical ministry training, a deeper understanding of God’s heart for the nations, and space to discern how He may be calling you into His global mission.
